Research study grant (2008-2012), Università degli Studi di Trento. Worked, on the PRIN 2008/BESOS (Bandwidth efficiency and Energy Saving by sub-lambda Optical Switching) project, in collaboration with the Netgroup at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering – Politechnic of Turin and the Telecommunication Group at the Department of Electronic and Information – Politechnic of Milan. Developed Real Time Linux kernel-space (FreeBSD and Debian) code and bash automation scripts to measure the O.S. latencies within a Time Driven Priority (TDP) and the Time Driven Switching (TDS) testbed. Studied and verified various techniques to reduce the O.S. latencies.
Developer Java (2007-2008), Belarus State University, Minsk. Cooperated with Dr. Vladimir A. Polikarpov, PhD in psychology, associate professor of Psychology Department of Belarus State University, chief of Practical Time Philosophy Laboratory at the Institute for Time Nature Explorations – Moscow State University. Developed the software VIPSI, aimed at the investigation of possible evidence for anomalous retroactive influences on cognition and affect.
Developer Lingo (2007), Edizioni Erickson, Trento. Wrote the Lingo authoring code for a multimedia CD-ROM in support of people affected by epilepsy.
Developer Java (2004-2006), Fondazione Graphitech, Trento. Worked on the ProVotE project aimed at testing of e-voting systems for local elections in Trentino. Designed and wrote the code of the entire e-voting software framework.
Developer C++ (2003-2004), Fondazione Graphitech, Trento. Wrote OpenGL/C++ code to integrate a general purpose virtual reality glove into the augmented reality software framework Studierstube, developed at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision – Graz University of Technology.
