How to get to Piano di Sorrento:

  • From Rome-Fiumicino Airport:

    You have to reach the Roma Termini railway station and take a train to Napoli.
    The simplest way to reach Roma Termini is to take the Leonardo-express train, a non stop service to the airport.
    The train costs 14 euros.
    Now follow the instructions "from Rome Termini".

  • From Rome-Ciampino Airport:

    You have to reach the Roma Termini railway station and take a train to Napoli.
    The simplest way to reach Roma Termini is to take the bus out of the Airport.
    There are different companies serving this line: Terravision, Schiaffini Travel, Cotral e SitbusShuttle.
    The cost is around 4 euros.
    Now follow the instructions "from Rome Termini".

  • From Rome Termini:

    Take a train to Napoli-Centrale, have a look at the Trenitalia website.
    High speed trains can be found under the red form on the left.
    All train solutions including the cheaper local trains can be accessed using the gray form "passes".
    High speed trains "Frecciarossa" can start from 19 euros and take ca 1h.
    Now follow the instructions "from Napoli-Centrale".

  • From Naples-Capodichino Airport:

    There two ways to reach Piano di sorrento:

    1. Direct bus from company Curreri:
    2. It costs 10 euros and takes 50 minutes.
      Have a look to the timetable.
    3. Public transportation:
    4. take the Alibus bus to the central station Napoli-Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi).
      Here the timetable.
      It costs 3 euros if bought in kiosks, news-stand, shops and 4 euros on-board.
      It takes around 20 minutes to get to the railway station.
      Now follow the instructions "from Napoli-Centrale".

  • From Napoli Centrale:

    To get to Piano di Sorrento you have to take the Naples Circumvesuviana Railway. Naples Circumvesuviana connect the city center with the city's eastern suburbs around Mount Vesuvius.
    The rains are located under the main floor of the central railway (they are changing the signs, you might find them as EAV trains as well).
    There are five lines. Take the one to Sorrento, the cost is 4.5 euros, here the timetable.
    It takes around 50 minutes. The stop is Piano di Sorrento.
